Upon leaving the Leonora area, I continued to drive north towards Mount Magnet. Here is a kangaroo that I saw along the way. I used my telephoto lens, and have now used my slide scanner to zoom in closer, but it's a rather grainy picture.

I took a number of pictures of the scenery, including some which appear to be of the Mount Magnet township. They all seem to look much the same, so I won't waste a lot of words on them.

Leaving the Mount Magnet area, I turned west.

I didn't have time in a mere three weeks to go any further north at my pace, although I would have liked to do so.

The earth became noticeably redder as I travelled west, and the wildflowers became more abundant.
