Helen Stephenson's Lincoln Pictures

This page contains clickable images.

My camera accompanied me to the Lincoln APFPY Meet which took place over the May Day Bank Holiday Weekend. Here are some of the better results of my snapping away.

Here are four views of Lincoln Cathedral under floodlights. I was just getting nicely into my stride and had discovered that there was a good vantage point behind the Cathedral where I could get far enough back when they went and turned the floodlights off!

Here are four views of Lincoln Cathedral by daylight.

This was the best stained glass picture I took. It is in the North Transept. We found the grave of Bishop Robert Grosseteste, to whom Ian referred. It is on the South side of the Cathedral. The Lincoln Imp is North of the Altar.

Here are two Castle views, and another view of the Cathedral.

Here is Lincoln's Newport Arch, as seen from Bailgate; and a City Centre view.

Here is another City Centre view, and two views of Steep Hill, starring Evelyn.

Here is Di's favourite type of shop, and Steve and Di pushing Evelyn up Steep Hill.

Here are some of us having Sunday lunch. Chris was the photographer here, so she isn't in this one.

Denis and Maggie also attended the Meet, but managed to escape my ministrations with the camera. However, I photographed both of them at Fleetwood.

Denis also took pictures at Lincoln. Click here to see them.
