After visiting the St Merryn Steam and Vintage Rally, we continued on to Padstow, and luckily the sun, which wasn't much in evidence at St Merryn, decided to come out, so I chose to use the Kodak Elite Chrome Extra Colour 100ASA film in my Ricoh KR-10 Super camera. |

There were some photogenic waterfront buildings, and the Golden Lion, which was in a street en route to and from the car park at the top of the hill, was a photogenic pub. |

I liked the "patchwork quilt" effect of the fields on the other side of the estuary, and I still find windfarms an object of interest rather than a blot on the landscape, although I know there are a lot who would disagree with me about them! |

We spent some time gazing across the estuary admiring the scenery. The passenger ferry was plying regularly between the two shores, and there were plenty of other craft about as well. |

And that really was the end of our holiday. After a stop in the tourist shop to buy some of the local rock confectionery, we climbed back up the hill to our car and headed for home! |
