The Parish Church of St. James the Great in East Malling has stained glass from two distinct periods. Within the Lady Chapel on the North side of the Church, there is Mediaeval stained glass, while the Corpus Christi Chapel on the South side of the Church and the windows at the West end of the nave contain more recent Victorian stained glass. I haven't tried to put any of this stained glass into any particular context, but have simply picked out some pieces to enjoy. |

I think I found all of these pieces of Mediaevel stained glass in the panels of the North facing window at the North East end of the Lady Chapel. |

These pieces, which I think are also Mediaeval, were found in the panels of the East facing window at the North East end of the Lady Chapel. |

The rest of the stained glass on this page is Victorian and was found in the Corpus Christi Chapel and at the West end of the nave. |

I think this is my favourite picture. As with much of the Victorian stained glass I have show here, this is a small section of a larger piece of stained glass, but I felt that it fit into the 35mm format and that it could be enjoyed this way, even if it is taking it out of context to show only part of the panel it comes from. |
