They were scanned using the CanoScan FS2710 film scanner.

Stephen and I went to the Hop Farm for the War & Peace Show. We saw some of the regular residents, such as this llama as well.

I have included a number of pictures from Leonardslee Gardens, as I know that Jessie loves gardens. Stephen and I visited Leonardslee in the spring when the Rhododendrons, Azaleas and Magnolias were in blossom. There were also plenty of Bluebells out, as the pictures on the left and the top right show.

Here is another mix of bluebells and an azalea. There were a number of pheasant in the gardens. This one didn't have any hens, but another cock nearby did, and this fellow was getting well and truly warned off if he ventured too close! The pond system at Leonardslee was extensive, and with ponds at different levels, there were opportunities to include waterfalls such as the one on the right.

Stephen and I went to Sheffield Park during the autumn. Like Leonardslee, they have an extensive lake system. On these pages are also an 1898 Fisson from the Victorian Motor Car Museum at Leonardslee, and a line of oast houses, photographed at The Hop Farm.

Stephen and I visited The Tower Bridge Experience and St.Katharine Docks early in the year and stayed on to do some twilight photography.

Jessie, Stephen and I were in Eastbourne for a family wedding, and we made a day of it. I included the picture of the moon rising over Eastbourne Pier because of its unusual red colour, even though the sky was really too dark. Jessie remembers this moonrise as it was so unusual.
The picture of the traffic trails was taken for my Night Time Photography talk, and I thought Jessie might be interested as the local bridge at Chipstead that I used as a vantage point is local to where she lives.

Most of these pictures are of fireworks taken at the Chislehurst bonfire night display, with the exception of the very red one, which was taken a week later at Leeds Castle.

|
Here I have included two fireworks pictures from Leeds Castle, the Helter Skelter and the ferris wheel in motion, also from Leeds Castle, and the bonfire from the Chislehurst bonfire night display.

The church at Riverhead is a place we all pass by from time to time, and Jessie knew I had my eye on the steeple for a photograph, so I thought she'd be interested in seeing one of the results.
She also asked from time to time about how my talk on Night Time Photography for the camera club was progressing, so I included a picture exposed for 4 minutes at f5.6 on 400ASA film with the lighting sources being moonlight, ambient street lighting, and off-camera flash repeatedly fired along the fence. You can see my silhouette where I got between the camera and the piece of fence I was illuminating.
Anothe firework picture from Leeds Castle rounded off the page.
