This page contains the pictures I selected to put together in an album for Jessie (Stephen's Mum) for Christmas 2004. Well, actually, some of these pictures were taken on Christmas Day, so this turned into more of a New Year's album!
Some of the pictures were scanned using the CanoScan FS2710 film scanner, while the Christmas Day pictures of the cats and Jessie's orchids were digitally captured on an Olympus Camedia C-1400XL 1.4 megapixel digital camera.

I've started out with some pictures that I took when Stephen and I went to Wales in June 2004. This picture of the Menai Bridge at twilight is my favourite photograph out of everything I've taken this year.

These pictures were taken at Dolgoch Falls in north west Wales.

These were some of the stained glass windows to be seen in St Asaph Cathedral.

Stephen and I visited Groombridge Place during 2004. The top left picture could almost be used to decorate a chocolate box.

I managed to take pictures of all seven cats on Christmas Day. Some of the photos were better than others, but I think the picture of Bruno is one of the best. Fluffie looks like she's enjoying her roast potatoes! Bruno is Fluffie's son.

The pictures of Sam and Katie turned out quite well, even though Katie decided to shut her eyes at the wrong moment. I didn't pick this up from the little LCD display on the back of the camera. Sam is Katie's son.

Mitsi, Minnie and Mollie are litter mates. Although Fluffie isn't their mother, she adopted them and brought them up when their mother disappeared. Mitsi and Minnie are quite difficult to tell apart. Minnie has slightly more white under her throat, while Mitsi has the thicker tail. Mollie is a gorgeous cat. Her fur is a bit longer than Mitsi's and Minnie's and she's incredibly soft.

Jessie has some orchids growing in her kitchen. She said that they don't seem to mind the gas cooker and one of the plants is two years old.

To finish, I've included a couple of pictures of the pumpkin display at Kew Gardens from Autumn, 2001.
