Downstream of Plainsboro Pond. Winter 1984-5.
This image was unsuccessfully scanned by the CanoScan FS2710 in 24-bit mode. The original is a slide and the scanner couldn't get far enough into the shadowed areas. However, importing the scan directly into PhotoShop in 36-bit mode paid dividends, and after adjusting the levels, the scan was converted to 24-bit mode for use outside of PhotoShop and the extra detail was successfully retained.
