Rather than taking the main inland road from Norseman towards Perth, when I reached the gold town of Coolgardie, I turned north and went up through Leonora and some other ghost towns. I believe I saw this derelict building in Leonora. Sorry about the power wires: at least it shows there's still someone in Leonora!

The Leonora Tourist Committe have kindly erected a number of signs around the district, so I'm not going to have to write too much about the next few pictures.

The Leonora Tourist Committe provide an indoor museum as well as looking after the outdoor sites. I found some mining tools, scales for weighing gold, and this wonderful old washing machine.
