We travelled to north Wales on a Saturday afternoon, arriving at Ann & Dewi Wilkinson's farm at Pant Glas Canol sometime after 6pm, but while there was still plenty of light. You can read more about our journey at Holiday Report: Saturday June 12th.

Here is the caravan. It has its own little fenced-in enclosure just past the farm buildings. It was lovely and quiet. If you want to book it, visit Pant Glas Canol... home page to get in touch with Ann & Dewi.

The interior of the caravan was nicely decorated. Here are three views of the living area at the front of the caravan. There was lots of built-in seating. The middle picture shows the colour TV and the gas fire. Fortunately the weather was warm during our stay, and we had no need of the fire. The picture on the right includes the round table we could sit at to eat, and looks back towards the kitchen area. The door visible near the eating area leads to the second bedroom, and the door at the back leads to the bathroom. The main bedroom door is just to the left of the bathroom door, but you can't see it properly in this picture.

Here is the kitchen in a bit more detail. It was stocked with plates, cups, glasses, cutlery and some cooking utensils. There's a fridge, a gas cooker and a sink; and on the bench there were a toaster and an electric jug.

The main bedroom is at the rear of the caravan. Its doorway is alongside and to the left of the bathroom doorway. (You couldn't see it in the picture looking down past the kitchen, but it's there!) There is some built-in shelving to each side of the bed, and there's hanging space and drawer space at the foot of the bed.

Here's the bathroom. It's very compact, but quite workable. The shower is in a deep tub, but the tub's not really big enough to sit down in. It was quite practical, though, and water from the shower stayed within it.

Here's the second bedroom, which has twin beds. It has lockers above the beds, a set of drawers between them, and some hanging space opposite the doorway.

With the exception of the pictures of the outside of the caravan, which were taken with a less extreme lens (a 28-80 I bought recently on eBay) these pictures were taken with my Centon 18-28 super wide angle zoom lens. There's a bit of vignetting present in the corners, which I've made no attempt to edit out.

I had 400ASA print film loaded, and I used a flashgun on its wide angle setting with a diffuser fitted to compensate for the extremely wide angle lens. The lens was set to a fixed aperture and I let the flashgun work out how much flash to provide. It does a pretty good job. The camera body used was a Pentax MZ-M.
