The kangaroos in Cleland were very tame and were quite keen to come along and feed from my niece Chrissie's hands.

Although the big kangaroos looked tame enough, we didn't trust them close up and left them to rest under the trees without offering them any food. When you look at the size of their claws, it seemed like a wise decision!

The rest of the pictures on this page feature an albino kangaroo and her big baby of a joey. He's nearly as big as she is, but she's still feeding him! She's also got a young joey in her pouch. Being an albino, she probably attracts more attention than the rest of the kangaroos and she was very tame indeed, happily taking food while feeding her big baby.
