I took over eighty pictures in East Malling on Sunday 17th August, 2003. I have selected a few of the better ones to put on here. The whole lot are spread over the rest of my East Malling pages if you've got the time and the inclination to look further. |

I have started my highlights with a picture of the village sign, which summarises the main points of the village. Of all of the items represented on the sign, the only one I missed completely was the mill! |

Bradbourne House was the home of the Lords of the Manor, the Twisden family. It is now a horticultural research establishment and isn't open for visiting. I pointed a telephoto lens through the gates and got a distant view of both the house, on the right, and what I'm assuming may have been the stable block on the left. |

On the day I visited, I was lucky enough to be able to go inside. Afternoon teas were being served, hence the tables with the white tablecloths. |

There is quite a bit of stained glass inside the Church. Some, like the picture on the left, is Victorian, while other pieces, like the one on the right, are Mediaeval. |
