Rather than taking the main inland road from Norseman towards Perth, when I reached the gold town of Coolgardie, I turned north and went up through Leonora and some other ghost towns. I believe I saw this derelict building in Leonora. Sorry about the power wires: at least it shows there's still someone in Leonora! |

The Leonora Tourist Committe have kindly erected a number of signs around the district, so I'm not going to have to write too much about the next few pictures. |

The Leonora Tourist Committe provide an indoor museum as well as looking after the outdoor sites. I found some mining tools, scales for weighing gold, and this wonderful old washing machine. |
