I drove across the Nullarbor Plain from South Australia. Norseman was the first place I arrived at which was more than a dot on the map where fuel and accommodation were available. |
West Australia is famous for its spring wildflowers, so it is appropriate that this page starts with a wildflower picture. This will be the first of many! |

My next stop was at a museum. This may have been in the Norseman area, or may have been somewhere near Coolgardie, as that is the direction in which I headed. The items on display depicted a way of life which predated the advent of indoor plumbing. |

From Coolgardie, I turned North and headed up through Leonora and some other gold mining ghost towns. Here is some scenery and some wildflowers I saw along the way. |
